No Wood or plastic here! The Tele-Station is built with all aluminum parts. Unlike wood or plastic construction,the Tele-Station observatory will maintain its structural integrity for many years to come.
The Tele-Station2 Roll Off Roof Observatory design is unlike any other design on the market. the Tele-Station does not require the roof support posts that are found in other roll off roff observatories. Our roof is self supporting with the slide out beams. The Tele-Station observatory is all aluminum in construction, with stainless steel fasteners allowing it to be completely maintenance free. Its also the only roll off roof observatory that can be dis-sassembled and relocated in case you need to move it to another location. It is re-assembled with the same structural integrity.
Available Sizes:7x7,8x8,9x9,10x10 (all dimensions are in feet)
It is shipped mostly assembled, No need for a contractor!! All you need to do is attach the 4 walls with the pre positioned brackets and stainless steel screws. Once the walls are put together, simply attach the roof panels and your done. The total assembly time is 5 hours with two people. Full professionally written assembly manual with pictures is included!
If you can use a hex wrench, you can assemble the Tele-Station!!!!
Also,available is a motorized roof. You can control the roof remotely with our Ascom compatable software. You can also raise our pier-tech2 height adjustable telescope pier remotely, to get the telescope above the wall for viewing near the horizon. These features make the Tele-Station2 the only fully robotic roll-off roof Observatory available.
