Description:

We carry Kim-Wipes from Kimberly-Clark. These laboratory cleaning wipes are useful for many cleaning jobs.
These are boxes of Laboratory “Delicate Task Wipers”. Many people I know use these for delicate cleaning jobs, including removing dirt from lenses and even ccd chips. (by cutting off a small piece wetting it with an appropriate cleaner such as our ASO (Arkansas Sky Observatory) cleaner for lenses, and using a tweezers to drag it once across the surface). The ASO site maintains, never use the same object twice…if you picked up grit on the first wipe, you will rub it in on the second. 1 box of Kim-Wipes (280 1 ply Wipers, 4.5x8.4 inches) Dr. Sherrod suggests their use on 1st surface mirrors.
