Cover the screen with Rubylith.
Rubylith is an optically clear polyester based sheet with a red coating. A sheet of it can be rolled up but it will snap back to flat surface when let go. It can easily be cut with scissors. It works great.
After being night vision blinded by my new Treo at a star party I bought a quantity of Rubylith. It turned out to be a lot of Rubylith.
I am selling my extra sheets as a 10” by 12” piece for $7 and a 4” by 4” piece for $3 and 2 for $5.
Shipping by first class mail is included.
