Telrads are great finders! The calibrated circles (4,2, and 0.5 degree diameter) allow one to place the object in the center of the target based on a sky chart and find the object easily. The Best sky charts to use are ones with that standard target printed to scale on the page. The Best sky charts give you more than just the Messiers or Caldwells.
The "Best" 300 include the Messiers, the Caldwells and more.
The "Best" 300 have been picked by observers such as the Saguaro Astronomical Club.
The "Best" 300 include Royal Astronomical Society of Canada finest NGC objects.
The "Globular Clusters of the Milky Way" give you all 151 currently known Globular Clusters.
The Messier Telrad Finder Chart gives you just the Messiers at less than half the price of the "Best" 300, with a non-expiring non-transferable $7 off coupon for either the "Best" 300 or GCs of the MW. When you are ready to go deeper, use the coupon!
The "Best 300" TFC is a 45 page fully laminated skychart organized by constellation. No other Telrad Finder Chart includes so much.
GCs of the Milky Way is a 37 page fully laminated skychart organized by constellation. About 120 are viewable in an 8" scope, about 135 in a 10". There are 151 total.
Many TFCs are organized by catalog with 1 finder chart per page. Buy a book and you get the Messiers. Buy another and you get the Caldwells. Soon you are carrying a bunch of books and fumbling around from one to another just to see a few new things. Organized by catalog number they are no assistance at finding what is up tonight.
The "Best" 300 telrad finder chart averages 6 targets per page and is organized by constellation so that those targets are shown together in the sky. That way you can find everything in the area you are currently observing. In addition, it organizes the constellations by RA from North to South so that once you are in a section of the book you can remain there the whole evening. Stars to magnitude 6 are charted. Catalog duplicates have been removed and there are still over 300 objects portrayed.
It is laminated and handles the dew well. Objects are charted using the standard 4/2/0.5 degree target of the Telrad finder. It works with Telrads, Rigels and similar finders.
Take this chart out with you, if the skies are ok, look at the brighter objects. If the skies become exceptional, you are ready to go a little deeper and see some things you haven't seen before. Go Deeper, See More!
If you really love globular clusters, GCs of the Milky Way is the chart for you. GCs are subdivided into 12 classes depending on how tightly packed they appear. View each class and learn to judge each globular. Class 12 borders on the open cluster. See if you agree....
Have a PushTo or GoTo scope? Each of the objects is listed by its NGC designation also. Use the charts to dial in on some of the best objects in the sky! Some of the best starparties I have been to have 2 or 3 dob owners tracking down objects while a GoTo scope confirms the finds.
If you purchase an Alignment Star Chart or limiting magnitude chart at the same time, it can be bound into the booklet at your request.
The Best 300 TFC is available now for $44, $5 shipping in US or Canada.
GCs of the Milky Way is available for $37, $4 shipping in the US or Canada.
The Messier TFC is available for $18 $3 shipping in the US.

Each "Best" 300 or GC of the Milky Way now comes with a free check-off list to keep track of your progress. The check-off list is not laminated since you need to write on it.
WANT TO TRY BEFORE YOU BUY? SEND an EMAIL to me and I will send you a single page from one of our TFCs depicting a constellation out this summer. Explore that constellation and see how easy this star chart is to use!!!!
Go Deeper this summer, See More!
