Please forgive me on the description of this item. I am not very well versed in such things, but here is what i do know.
This Item has been in storage for 8 to 10 years. The mirror is a Galaxy opics and after a phone call there I found out it is an 18" Diameter, with F/Ratio of f 4.4 at 2" thickness. J. Hudek is the manufacturer of the mirror. The Mirror was manufactored in 1988, after speaking with John Hudek at Galaxy Optics it is determined it is in new condition and is appraised at $1800.00. This is in part due to a custom velvet lined wooden box built to store the mirror in. I have found all the eyepieces that goes with the telescope they are as followed:
Tuthill Plossl 7.5 with adaption ring
Tele Vue 9mm Nagler
Tele Vue 16mm Nagler
Tele Vue 32mm Wide Field
Also there is a telrad sight located on the unit. I am selling this unit as is, the buyer will be responsible for the shipping. I will box the unit up and deliever it to the shipper of your choice.
My ignorence to this item can be you pot of gold to the right offer. I already know what the mirror and eye pieces is worth so please all offers be serious. I will answer all questions as best as i can. once I see there is enough interest i will place the item on e-bay for purchase.
