13,810 deep sky objects from 62 catalogs are plotted on 302 charts (letter size pages), 151 for each hemisphere. StarMaps 9.5 plots stars down to 9.5th magnitude on the main charts and 12.5th magnitude on selected close-up charts.
The atlas includes dark nebulae and all large nebulae are plotted to scale with outlines.
Index maps provide a quick reference point for locating the right chart.
A companion booklet database provides object information, including map location, magnitude, size and more.
