2) Genuine Lunar-origin meteorite "Moon Rock" - this is a real fragment from the lunar meteorite NWA 4737, a rare Mare Basalt from the surface of our nearest neighbor. This meteorite was found in the Sahara desert of Northwest Africa (Morocco), and consists of only 1372 grams. It's makeup is primarily pyroxene and plagioclase, but it also contains Ilmenite, baddeleyite, zirconolite, tranquilityite, pyrrhotite, and metal. This piece of the Moon comes in a nice display box with a lunar-themed landscape photo and the specimen's identification. There is a small cutout window where the specimen can be seen.
