| I put together a 2010 Moon Phase Calendar (11"x17" poster), showing for each month the maxima and minima of Lunar declination, apogee and perigee, libration, Lunar eclipses, andbright objects within 10 degrees of the Moon throughout the year. The calendar is available in either PDF or jpg format. http://newcastleobservatory.com/download.php?list.11 Enjoy! |

| Hi Michael, I enjoyed looking through your website..I remember seeing the posts on the building of your newest obs. Thanks for making the moon phase calendar available. Question about your ecu files....will they work in The Sky? or must they be modified? did you end up getting the QSI camera?

| Hi Bud, I really need to check back to this forum more often. Thanks for the accolades. User files for planetarium programs all seem to have their own file layout. So, unfortunately, ECU files would not work in TheSky or any other planetarium software. Another good example of this problem is orbit elements for planetarium programs offered by the Minor Planet Center: Orbital Elements for Software Packages There are 17 file formats to contend with. Maybe there needs to be an initiative to standardize a user objects file layout. I just received my QSI 516ws a few days ago. Some clear weather around now, so I'm anxious to try it out.
