Default Nova in Scorpius

Two novae in the constellation Scorpius have recently been discovered. The first nova, known as 1651-32 V1280 SCO, was discovered by Japanese astronomers Feb 4. Last week, on Feb 16, this nova was seen at visual magnitude 3. This morning, Feb 24, I observed this nova at visual magnitude 5.2
