Default My lovely wife needs help

Hello friends....this is art not photography,

My wife has been working with a new medium, called "Yupo". And the company that produces the paper has a contest..(with some prize money involved). It's odd, in that there are no categories....just however everyone uses the paper and who gets the most votes. Some of the competitors have just had a massive increase in the votes....so, I thought I'd encourage you all to take a look.

My wife's version is a painting....and many of the others are different uses of the paper...such as menus/business cards..etc.

Here is the link
vote for favorite

vote for Sharon Guinn's entry....if you like it of course.

here is a link to Sharons Art site.....she also does music and writes most of her own.....examples of the art and music are at her site?
Sharons' site

thanks for looking

Hello Bud,

Your wife is obviously very gifted with her artwork. I happen to love abstract art and the painting that she submitted is absolutely beautiful.

Does she sell her art work? If so please let me know as I would not mind having some of her art hanging in my own home.

I casted my vote!!

Hi Brian,

Thanks for looking......Sharon does sell her art and has been pretty successful at it. She has it displayed in most of the major art galleries in the area. She also won the last three art shows that she entered. This has, of course, just tickled her.......She has been singing for quite some time....but the serious attack at art has only begun since we moved here. Oregon has a very serious art community and Sharon has been accepted in and has been having a blast with it.

best

Hey Bud,

I gave her my vote too.

But I also wanted to thank you for bringing this paper to our attention. My wife is an artist too and I don't think she knows about this sutff so I've ordered her some.

It's extremely rare that I can surprise her with something "artsy" - thanks!

thanks guys, it is appreciated.

Ken, my wife really enjoys using the paper....it takes a different style to work with, but it really gives vibrant colors and a different look.
If your wife needs any tips on using it, just give Sharon an email, she would love to help......she has a link from her web site that is in the original post.
