| That's what I did. The project looks simple but will require some resources, mainly a machine shop. Only a few baffels are needed because the energy cone follows follows the optical path very well, however alot of baffels look neat. The 130F7 is a excellent lens to consider. The advantage is shorter tube and smaller mount. The lens cell come threaded with a push-pull adjustment for collimation. If you do plan to make something, remember paint likes to dry when it's warm out. Jim Fusco |

| Jim,it is the only way for someone this far away, as a whole tube will only cost considerably more to ship. Tubes are easy, and as you say baffles are optional. I have them in all my newts, and believe they assist. Warm? It is going on winter, but there is the odd sunny day. Thanks again Gary |
