Default Which AP Scope?

Just curious....

If you did not own an AP scope, and could have any ONE that they have ever made tomorrow, which would you pick?

Yeah, the 10" Mak-Cass would be at the top of the list. Next up would be the f/5 Stowaway.

Only one? It'll also have to be the 10" Mak. If I could squeeze out a second, I'd throw in the 160 as well.

My choice would be the 180 f7 with the dedicated reducer.

In order:

1) 10" Mak
2) 180 f/7
3) f5 Stowaway

If I were restricted to one scope for the rest of my life (a little different) it would probably be the 130 f6, a nice balance between portability and aperture.

Yes, the 180 f/7 is a very nice scope too.

Rick.

I would have to say the 180 F/7 as well. I would just need to get a mount large enough to hold it but I think that would be the least of my problems at that point!

If we are talking about Astro Physics then any scope that they could deliver in a persons life time would be fine by me! I am not picky!
