Takahashi Dovetail Plates

A lot of you have inquired about some of our product offerings. Rather than pointing everyone to our website, I thought it would be helpful to post some of our most popular products here.



Tak01-dp Takahashi Dovetail Plate: 99.00

Designed for Takahashi clam shell rings for: FC-60, FS-60, FC-76, FS-78, Sky-90, FC, FCT 100, FS-102, TSA-102, FSQ-106, FS-128, FS-152 and TOA-130.

Tak-01dp is 12" in length to provides a great deal of adjustability. Two machined depressions on the centerline are provided for positioning of the clam shell or to mount two clam shells. Four 1/4-20 mounting holes are provided on the centerline for mounting on photo tripods or other mounting surfaces.

Tak-02dp Takahashi Dovetail Plate: 199.00

Designed specifically for use with both Takahashi clamp shell and rings for :TOA-130, TOA-150, Epsilon 160 and Epsilon 180.
Also can be use with FC-60, FS-60, FC-76, FS-78, Sky-90, FC, FCT 100, FS-102, TSA-102, FSQ-106, FS-128, FS-152 and TOA-130 clam shell.
The three center machined depressions on the centerline of the plate to enable single or dual use of clam shells for the ultimate secure non flexing mounting arrangement. This dovetail plate is twice as thick and rigid than our Tak-01dp. This plate is for those that have a larger sized scope and require the most secure rigid dovetail plate that is currently available.


Tak-03dp Takahashi Dovetail Plate: 299.00

The Tak-03dp will allow use of the Takahashi mounting rings and will provide an extremely rigid mounting surface that will easily attach to your saddle plate. It is available in a clear or black anodized finish or in matching Takahashi green.
Tak-03dp will accommodate the following Takahashi products: Mewlon 250S, Mewlon 300, BRC-250 and FRC-300.

I have the Tak-02dp, and I must say that it is one of the finest examples of machining that I have seen. It slides into my Losmandy side by side better than the losmandy dups do.

I have used all three of these products in conjunction with my Takahashi E-180, TOA-130, TOA-150, Mewlon-250, and TSA-102 and find all to be well made and amply rigid.
