Still the masters! We all saw Meade's lack of commitment in assuring the filters produced after they bought out Coronado. What used to be a consistently high quality product didn't take long to deteriorate to the usual 'maybe you'll get a good one' product quality they've become known for. The solar entusiast won't have to worry any more.
Andy Lunt and the crew that stayed behind in Tucson after the buyout stayed busy! We're going to see a new line of 10 new revolutionary products this coming year, ranging from 50mm filters to 160mm complete solar systems. Word has it the new filters are as cutting edge for today as their Max systems were for days gone by. This is probably the best big news in amateur astronomy I can recall in many years.
