| Hi gang, I shot this the first day as the weather was clearing.....seeing was still pretty poor, but clear. I was hoping to get some more detail in the galaxy lane, but that might be asking for a little to much at the wide field of the Tak 180ed and my seeing. I'd like to get the big RC hooked up and see what I might be able to capture. Here is the Widefield version: ![]() larger versions available on pull down: larger versions Here is a cropped and enlarged area of the galaxy: ![]() larger versions are available on the pulldown menu: larger sizes Telescope: Tak 180ED Camera: SXV-M25C 8@32min Acquired with AstroArt Processed in ImagesPlus and PSCS2 I tried removing the lum and deconvolving it, but there was just no detail there. thanks for looking and comments or critiques are welcomed

| Bud, Well I think thats a great picture... I think you captured it nicely. It is a strange Galaxy, with it's flat disk and round "glow" of ? instead of a bulge in the center.
