Default The Christmas Tree and Cone Nebulas

Hello friends,

Finally had a few hours of clear skies.....seeing was somewhat poor with another storm coming in, but I wanted to try out my camera with the new 2" adapter.

so many objects to shoot around Orion, but I chose the Christmas Tree area.

larger sizes here:

Telescope: Epsilon 180ED
Camera: SXV-M25C
9@10min Acquired in AstroArt using CGE mount
Processed in CCDStack, PSCS2 and Noel's AstroTools

I wished I had much more time on this one. I stretched pretty hard, but tried to keep the star colors intact.

comments are always appreciated,

I will give Fred a call tomorrow and see what is the status of your adapter. This has taken long enough.

Nice job, Bud. Are you going to try for some Ha data too?

I have had almost nothing in the way of clear skies for a month! Blame it on my new (to me) scope.

Neil, I'd love to be able to add about three hours of HA...this area would really jump out with some Ha added. I have enough color to make it work.......but I don't have any clear weather on the horizon...at least two weeks it looks like.
