| The focus today seems to be shifting to multi-giga pix cams on super short FL scopes, soon we'll see 100mm fish-eye lens telescopes for high fidelity all sky images. To move in the opposite direction, I've attached a photo of NGC7008, a little blue and purple, heart shaped planetary. The photo was taken through a small camera at a long focal length, so the entire FOV is 8'X10'. More seriously, the photo was taken with the SXV-H9 through the Mewlon 250 @ native focal length. A little over 1hr of lum, and 1 1/2hr of RGB was used. |
