Default m81-82 H9 with 5"

hi folks,

the night before I captured the M82 with my 9" I created an overview image of the big sister m81 and h9 with my
5" f/9 Tmb Apo @f/7
SXV M25C
2,2 hours
AA4, PS CS2, PixIS


and here we are with a medium sized image:

Dietmar:

This photo is also very good, nice principal subject composition, background and stars, but it's hard for your 5" scope to compete with the detail afforded you by your 9" scope (on the galaxy core or closely spaced stars). How about one of the new 16Meg pix cameras for your 9" scope to buy back that wider FOV. Just kidding.

Robert, actually You hit a delicate point. I`m really just about thinking of picking a monochrom CCD,...but currently I`ll wait a bit,...there`s many movement in this issue now, some new CCD producers,...need to see which one will be good...
