Hi everyone, Been a member here for some time, but been mostly lurking. So, to atone for my sins, my first contributing post on here. I currently have a cge on a pier, a small slide off roof observatory (stepdaughter refers to as the CrackShack, lol), a C11, a megrez90FD, and that little gem of a scope, the zs66sd. Oh, and a couple of dslr's, one semi broken. I live in a semi light polluted area, the center of a small town near Omaha, NE. Here is my picasaweb gallery of deep space pics. I am living proof that if I can learn to do astrophotography, anyone can. Been at it for three years now, and just this year things have started to actually make sense. http://picasaweb.google.com/ciobota/DeepSkyPics Thanks and glad to be here. Daniel

Lol Ed, I am a totally non competitive guy, I just like sharing and oogling at astro pics. Actually, my goal is to encourage everyone to do even better than me! Not hard really, lol. Thank you for the welcome. Daniel

I'm kidding about the competion, i'm new to this hobby and still in the early stages of experimenting and learning so i don't think i'm ready for competion just yet. Actually i was giving you a compliment but ya never know, maybe in 3 years i'll be taking great images as well. Hopefully...

Thanks guys, very much appreciated. Ed, I knew you were kidding... don't worry, I'm sure it won't be long before you crank out better pics, I am a very slow learner. Hi Bud, glad to see a fellow CGE'er. This is the first mount that I have felt like keeping more than a few months. It is currently much more capable than I am, apart from the occasional cable contact issues it has run flawlessly. Daniel
