| Hello Friends, This is a picture of the Christmas Tree and Cone Nebula areas. I have taken about 5 hours of Hydrogen Alpha information and added this to a previous (last year) shot that I took with my color OneShot M25C. I've done this before but wanted to bring out the cone and fox fur area a bit more. Considering the FL of the Tak 180ED and the fov of this I thought it did quite well. Here is the Combined image: ![]() Larger sizes are here: http://www.budguinn.com/gallery2/v/l...geViewsIndex=1 Here is the ha only: ![]() Larger sizes here: http://www.budguinn.com/gallery2/v/l...geViewsIndex=1 and here is an animation showing the before and after adding the Hydrogen Alpha: http://www.budguinn.com/gallery2/v/l...-anim.gif.html There are some other shots of recent Hydrogen Alpha shots on my website: http://www.budguinn.com/gallery2/v/latest/ comments and suggestions are appreciated,

| Very nice color rendition. The contrast between the reflection and emission portions of the nebula have been well highlighted in this version. Did you use the QSI or the M25 for the Ha? Robert |

| Hi Robert, Thanks for looking.....I used the QSI for this one.....this will probably be my camera of choice for Narrowband in the future....it has a QE of about 86% and the SX is around 40% and is also a bayer matrix camera so much less sensitive. The M25C still does very well, but just takes longer and suffers a tad in resolution...which is to be expected. thanks again for looking, bud

| Very nice. Clean and sharp. Excellent work... Bud, how do u manage to add the extra data to the data you captured last year? Different FL and differnt cam. I was imaging orion one nite and accidently tripped in the cord unplgging power to my scope, i plugged it back in and tried positioning the scope on orion as close as i could get it before the power interuption but even being close, i could not stack them with the ones before the power got cut off and this is with same cam and scope. Do you add it to the already stacked image or do u take last yrs subs and this yrs subs then stack them all together?
