Default First image in an long time... NGC 2174 and 2175

It has been a long time since the weather and circumstances have allowed me to go out imaging. Here is my first new image in nearly a year.

This is an RGB image.

I hope that the background does not look too light on your monitors. It looks different on each of my monitors. I haven't been keeping up on calibrating my monitors lately.

Hey Bud, you must have got to my page before I edited the location. <g> Desert Center was the location of the old image. The new one was taken closer to home here in San Diego County. It will update if you refresh your browser.

Yes, I drive by the Patton museum on I-10 on the way out to Desert Center. It is my understanding that the old Army training area where Patton did conduct his training before WWII is in the Desert Center area. The Marine training area, Twentynine Palms, is probably 40 miles to the north west.

Best,
