Default M34 Open Cluster in 3D

Hi friends,

I've wanted to try this for awhile.....this is an image that has been altered so that when you screw up your eyes it'll give a 3D look to it...depth and dimension.

It really is better to look at one of the larger sizes....you must relax your eyes (kind of cross them by focusing closer)...you'll end up seeing three panels with the 3D panel in the middle.....at this point you should see some stars closer and others farther away. It takes a few seconds to get the hang of it.

I'm going to try it with some nebula, also...maybe the HH.

credit for this goes to Steve Cannistra.

comments are appreciated
