Default M45 and first DSO image with the TOA-130

Hi all,

I finally got my TOA-130 mounted and of course couldn't resist trying an image. This is M45 shot with my ST10, 9x600 subs. There was a huge amount of blooming, but I kinda got it under control with Ron Wodaski debloomer in Maxim DL. I'm not too unhappy with my first try, the scope/mount tracked well which is a start. I definitely need flats and more practice.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Paul,

You are certainly off to a good start as your tracking looks excellent. I think I see a Takahashi TOA reducer for your in your future!!

Hi Paul,

I looks like this is going to be a winner. My QSI (same chip as yours) really blooms on these bigger stars. I was wondering how it would work on M45 and if the blooms could be controlled....I haven't tried Rons' debloomer, but CCDStack seems to work very well.
