| Hello friends, I have been having fun with the 3D deal...I have done a bunch of others, but not posted them. They include: NGC 2174 The Monkey Head IC 410 Nebulosity NGC 7023 the Iris M8 the lagoon B33 the horsehead M34 star cluster M20 the trifid M78 nebulosity in Orion NGC 2024 the flame NGC 6992 the network nebula Comet Holmes the link to the gallery: http://www.budguinn.com/gallery2/v/3Ds/ I have enjoyed fooling with these and will probably keep adding to the gallery. I particularly like some of the nebula ones...Like M78..the very delicate blue really gives it a feeling of depth, almost like a smoke cloud is surrounding the dark nebula and you are looking through this smoke layer. here is my method of viewing: It really is better to look at one of the larger sizes....you must relax your eyes (kind of cross them by focusing closer)...you'll end up seeing three panels with the 3D panel in the middle.....at this point you should see some stars closer and others farther away. It takes a few seconds to get the hang of it. thanks for looking,
