Default M110, M32 and M31 in Andromeda

Hi Friends,

This is one I've been fussing with for awhile. It had some terrible gradients that I just couldn't seem to get rid of, but felt the information was worth messing with. I've moved the black point close to clipping, but not quite....in an attempt to help flatten some of the background.

Telescope: Epsilon 180ED
Camera: SXV-M25C
29@8min acquired with AstroArt using CGE mount
Processed in ImagesPlus, PSCS2 and Noel Carboni's AstroTools

I have a ton of images on my hard drive, but just don't seem to have the time to process....hopefully, I'll make better use of the rainy periods.

best regards and comments are always appreciated,

bud

If I were to "put my nose on the print" I might see some of the backgound imperfections that you referred to, but that's not how to enjoy a very nice image like this. It has good color, and nice detail in the subject that drew you to this region of the sky in the first place.

A very nice photo. When you finish the ones on your HD, I have a half dozen 4-8hr sets I haven't even started to work on, they're screaming for attention.

...alright. the closer look has just been made on my screen at home:
star color wonderful - even the samller starts hold termendous amount of color!
I can also notice h2 regions in the galaxy!
resolution is great!!! even in m32 you can see dustlanes!
the gradients are not visibel to me. you mastered this problem optimal!
so - GREAT result!
but that is what we expect to see from you... (:
