Default Two moon photos

I am posting two different moon photos taken at two different times one my scope was severely out of collimation and the other was with a much closer to collimation. This just shows how much detail you are throughing away without collimating your scope.

Not bad at all, Glenn. Great to be able to get these types of shots, eh? For the more full moon, the second is just a little over-sharpened. Try some wavelettes in the freeware program, Registax.

Start with original image and then did as you suggested, first remove camera noise in photoshop, second used wavelettes in Registax. Personally I think it looks better.
