| It's been a long time coming, but finally an image to post!! <g> This is DWB-111, The Propeller Nebula, a.k.a., Simeis 57 or MRSL 479, an emission nebula in Cygnus. About 12 hours in total...presented through three images; one illustrating the Hubble Palette (SII/Ha/OIII), the second illustrating a synthetic green approach (Ha/sG/SII), and finally, the H-alpha data on its own. I hope you like. As always, comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've been twiddling with this one for weeks... http://www.flemingastrophotography.com/dwb111.html ...Neil

| Exceptionally clean image Neil. Can you post the image here so that I can put it up on our home page for the POD?

| Already done, Brian. I managed to get two out of the three posted, but for some reason, the system would not take the third. ...Neil

| Another fantastic image Neil. I liked the one which presented in syntetic green palette most. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Fatih

| Hi Neil, Very nicely done...I like both palettes. I've taken this object a few times, as part of a widefield....but never at a longer focal length. I'm hoping the new mount will allow me to capture some of these objects with a bit more detail.

| Very nice processing of this image, and a very interesting subject. The HA image is able to stand on its own, but your synth green version is a winner on this one. Robert |
