Default Deep Version of SH2-170

This is a dim emission object, radiating primarily in the hydrogen wavelengths. Located in Cassiopeia, near the boarder with Cepheus. It is positioned near its much more famous and prominent neighbor, NGC7822.
I attempted to go as "deep" as possible so as to pick up as much of the faint surrounding area as I could.

...Enjoy...Neil...

I sure did enjoy this imahe, Neil!
honestly - you and bud always amaze me with the knowledge (and results) on rarely known objects like this one.
who ever thought - some 10 years ago - that this particular region in the sky holds objects that would ever be "imagable" for amaterus!
great stuff! one for the books!

Beautiful shot of this object, Neil...it is usually completely ignored.....in the widefield of this area it looks like the dot at the bottom of the question mark.
