Default Nebula around Sadr in Ha

Hi all
A good bit of weather last night enabled me to get 14x10 minutes unguided on Sadr in Cygnus taken with a Ha filter, I tried the same image last week when there was thin cloud about all night and you can compare the results on my website http://www.imagingtheheavens.co.uk where there is also a better quality image
Due to time constraints no guiding or flat fields were used, just simple auto dark subtraction in Maxim DL and then processed with levels and curves and contrast in Photoshop CS2. I am off on my hols to San Francisco and Las Vegas this weekend so I am having an enforced break from imaging for a couple of weeks.
Thanks for looking
Best wishes and clear skies
Gordon

Nicely done, Gordon......this whole area responds very nicely to ha...there are also a couple of nice reflection nebula areas.

hi Gordon,

that is great! I do like the stars which keep in perfect shape right into the edges!

Hi Diets
Yes I am pleased as well, the field flattener seems to be doing its job well, I am going to try this subject later in the summer with a camera lens on the H36 to see if I can get the whole expanse of the nebulosity into the field of view
Best wishes
Gordon

Hi Neil
I am going to try with a 135mm or 200mm camera lens first and use the TMB to autoguide as an experiment as I haven't tried autoguiding yet. I will have a go at this when I get back off my holiday to SF and LV. As I am still learning to walk I don't think I am ready for mosaics yet, I want to have a go at proper darks and flats before I try that.
Best wishes
Gordon
