| Hi Bob, Some nice shots, and it's going to be really nice when completed. I love the pictures with the surrounding background. I looked but couldn't find where you are building this....lovely surroundings.

| Thanks, Bud. I appreciate the encouragement. Yes, this is gorgeous country. I'm in Midnight Canyon near Nye, Montana, foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, about 50 miles west of Billings. This is all ranching country, mostly large acreage so the neighbors are few and far between. Other than the absentee owners I caretake the place for and who are seldom home, there are no lights to contend with. Its an AA's paradise. I'm waaayyy blessed! Clear Skies, my friend!

| You have done very well with your facility. Now I know what they mean by clear Montana skies. Looks like you have a very nice home too. If I was not a native of Los Angeles I'd be up there with you. The pictures you saw of the school is one option for our facility to branch out. We might end up as part of their new earth sciences building on the ground level. Also I work for Universal Stusios theme park. CityWalk at Universal has expressed interest in building an observatory along with IMAX theater which then allows us another option, or we may build our own new facility as a science center incorporated with a public library through the city of Los Angeles. One would be surprised as to what avenues there are. Also here are a couple of links you may enjoy. Please share. | Thank you for the kind comments, Loron. Tackling the dome is the challenge before me. I've been researching alternatives for skinning the dome. Its looking like the cloth used to cover aircraft may be the preferred choice. More on that later. Those are interesting links. Thanks for sharing them. That 10 inch Zeiss is a real beauty. The guys and gals on CN's Classic Telescopes forum might love to see the first one. I don't know that its been shared there. Great history! You have some exciting potentials available to you. I'm keeping good thoughts Clear Skies!
