Default Roll Off Roof Observatories

Hi All,
I am situated in the U.K. and have a Meade LX200GPS 14" permanantly mounted inmy Roll off roof observatory (Olympus Mons Observatory). You can view my observatory here:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sg.waters/index.html

If you wish to view more amateur observatories, i have made a list of a few here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sg.waters/page40.html

If you would like help creating your own observatory, feel free to ask and i will try my best to answer your questions or you can always try the Roll Off Roof group: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Roll_Off_Roof/

Well i hope the information amongst those pages keeps you busy and helps someone!

Happy reading and good luck!

Kind Regards
Stewart Waters

Welcome aboard Stewart!! Your website is full of extremely useful information and your observatory came out GREAT!!

I would love to install something similar in my backyard but our South Florida building codes have made it near impossible. Everything built here now must be able to stand up to a 100 megaton nuclear blast so this pretty much rules out most domes or home built buildings.

Hello Brian,
Thank you for your kind comments!

I would love to live in Florida. My observatory would never survive your weather over there. It is alright for U.K. weather though. lol

Regards
Stewart
