Will do Bob. As soon as I improve on my astrophotography, I will be getting Ron to replace the humble beginning photos on there at present.

There a couple on there now. http://www.aussiepeople.com.au/asign...otography.aspx

Mate, Ron has been so good with my website. I couldn't be happier with the job he has done and is doing. I bet he has a few more very happy customers. I'll give him a rave review thumbs up anytime!

How's your SKYSHED's going? Are you going to retire yet, or keep at it for a bit?

Baz.

Hey Barry!

Been to your website and looked over your new images. Good goin', mate! I also liked your "Photography Configurations" explanation...well done. You're on your way, bro'.

Ron,

I could be wrong, but Barry seems to be one of those compulsive "keep raisin' the bar" guys. His observatory is a good indicator, his website is great (kudos to you), his DIY projects are top notch. APOD? He'll likely set a new standard there, too.

You Ozzies are a bunch to try to keep up with!

Cheers, and CDS!

Bob

I agree with you Bob, perhaps in Barry's case it's attributable to his youth, and energy, he is like a dynamo, he never stops

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words of encouragement! I need a little rest off the computer from time to time. At the moment I am in a little bit of a creative "Lull". Not sure why...a bit of cash might have something to do with it, but I am finding myself getting bored and restless quite a bit.

Ah well, a man once said, "Don't worry about tomorrow, that will take care of itself."

I agree, I just dont like waiting........

Baz.

APOD, here I come!

Hi members, I don't supposed this is the correct area to make the following announcement, if a moderator can reposition it that will be great.

I am very honored to announce the release of a book that has never been published. The book is handwritten by Charles Grover (1842 - 1921) and is the second volume of his personal observations that spanned 49 years, Volume One has been lost and never published.

The text and the amazing drawings can act as an example for aspiring amateur astronomers today showing how keeping a journal of your observations can make an incredible difference to the people around you and for those of future generations.

I have labored solidly for quite sometime now in association with Jerry Grover of England who is a great great grandson of Charles Grover and to him I am personally indebted beyond a level he will ever know. The book is free to read and I take pleasure in announcing it in the AstroClassifides.com forum and I commend it to all.

Please enjoy, ?Drawings of the Sun, Moon and Planets observed by Charles Grover? Volume 2 beginning on December 21st, 1861, available here: http://www.antiquescopes.com/Vol2.aspx Please remember that this work is copyright protected and is made available for educational study only.
