Pentax Scope Users Unite!

Greetings,

I’m about to get my first Pentax scope (75 SDHF). I have just started collecting Pentax XW eyepieces and so far they have amazed me. I'm now trying to drum up interest for an active forum by and for Pentax astronomy equipment users. I have looked all over and found only one group (Yahoo), and it is totally inactive. Since OPT is the official importer of Pentax scopes and is also a co-sponsor of this site I thought maybe we could get it going here.

I encourage all Pentax scope (and EP) users to chime in with your thoughts. I know Pentax scopes are not as popular as most high end scope brands (although I don't know why) but surely there must be enough users and interest to sustain an active forum. Help spread the word!

There's a converstion on CN right now related to finding a place for us Pentax users. Not sure if you're part of that conversation under a different name. Anyways, I hope we can get enough of us together to discuss things and provide a resource to current and future owners.

Yeh, that's me. Thanks for the post here. Try to spread the word to any Pentax users you "meet" online. It seems like there is a forum for every scope brand out there except for Pentax. I'd really like to see it get started.
