The new mount is alive :)

I got this from Brian 1 1/2 weeks ago. The plan is to put it in an observatory but until then it will live on a portable pier.

I used some of my free time since it arrived to build the portable pier that it is sitting on. Its obviously a rip off of the ats pier but it works well and the turnbuckles make it very easy to get it level with the weight of the mount on it.

Right now I have my two WO scope on it and in a few months I should take delivery of my 12.5" RC optics for a scope I am building. Until then I am happy and only turned this on for the first time yesterday Too bad its all thunder and rain, of course.

Congrats Jason, looks good, and when you get a scope (other than those two finderscopes) it will look finished. Pier looks good as well.
