| Administrators/Moderators: How about having a periodic (or non periodic for that matter) planetary imaging contest, much like your long exposure imaging contest, but without prizes, other than bragging rights, and possibly a post of the winning image? Planetary imaging is totally different from the long exposure stuff, in both the equipment, and expertise required, and merits its own "contest" forum. I don't know how you'd handle the judging, but the administrators and moderators should also be allowed to participate in the contest (some of them put together some good planet shots). We have Saturn now, Neptune and Uranus later this year, and of course, Mars in November/December. It would be interesting to see how the long exposure people handle a different set of subjects. | Hi Robert, That sounds like a good suggestion. People like me, because of my location I only can see the planets. I try taking pictures with my camera, I know the web cam guys will have some of the best images. Hut the images should be good. Jim Fusco |
