Default Jupiter widefield.

Here's a widefield through the slot of my observatory. The camera was biggybacking on its own on top of the other scopes. In one frame I had the red lights on, the next the lights off but the laptop illuminating the dome, the next two with my coat over the laptop for a pitch black dome.

When stacked it all turned out quite nicely I think.

Thats a fun picture inviting you to take a look through the scope..

But one thing Whats that cloud to the left ??? I observe mostly from an
Los Angeles front yard and we don't have those clouds...

Kidding aside... I have to drive at least 100 miles to see the Milky Way

...I was going to ask about that...the sky was clear when I took the picture...what gives?

Awesome shot Baz... Like the others here, we don't get to see the MW too often unless a huricane comes through and knocks out the power for 6 million people for a few days!! (fingers crossed)
