| Ron, It's good to see you here. Last Saturday I was doing an OPT club demo not far from your place. I was at at San Pasqual Battlefield State Park by San Diego Wild Animal Park... Although the sky was very transparent ... it was 24 degrees at 9:30 PM. No wind though, so it didn't seem so bad. I still left at 10

| I have a Tele Vue 85 and a Tele Vue Ranger. I use the Ranger mainly for daytime nature work and hikes, which is what is was designed for! For the 85, I have an alt/az set-up for quick looks, and a CG-4 with custom wooden legs for extended sessions. Which there have been far too few of lately! Clyde |

| PJ, How do you like the Tak 76? I've heard great things about it. A friend has an FS78 that I've had side by side with my TV85 many times and it's a great scope. We've had both scopes up at 500x on doubles with great results. Clyde |
