SCAE 2007 Seminars, Demos, Star Party & Raffle

Hello Everyone,

Ben from OPT here. I just wanted to let everybody know that SCAE 2007 is right around the corner. This is the third year of this new, rapidly growing event. The event is totally free, no strings attached.

There will be two key dates for the event, July 14th and July 28th. July 14th will be the Seminar Symposium with seminars from folks such as John C. Smith from NASA JPL, solar imaging expert Gary Palmer, astro-imaging expert Tony Hallas, NASA JPL planetary scientist Dr. Kevin Grazier, and renowned author, lecturer and sky photographer Dennis Mammana. After the seminar we will have a free star party and a free BBQ dinner!

The second date, July 28th, will be the Telescope Demonstration Convention. Over 25 of the biggest and best manufacturers in the telescope industry will be there to demo their equipment and answer all of your questions. There will also be seminars, a free pizza lunch and a HUGE raffle at the end of the day. Last year our raffle had over $12,000 in prizes, this year it is even bigger with a total of over 50 prizes with a net value over $20,000! Guess what? it is free!
