TEC Maks...gone forever?

Is TEC discontinuing their Maks because of the success of their APO's or is it a supplier problem? I notice they have removed the Maks from their website.

I remember Yuri saying a while ago that they were "slowing" down their production of the Maks and would be eventually stopping production so that they could concentrate on their refractors.

Dang, my dream scope was a 10-12" TEC Mak, probably a 10" because portability is essential and that would be about my maximum. I sure like my 8", and was hoping to upgrade. Oh well, the used market might be a source, that's where I got my 8".
