let me introduce my recent astro-image I have finished processing right now.

seeing was quite good 6-7/10 ( for my place this is rare), transparency could have been better (6-7/10)

this beautiful galaxy is rather hard to process.

the luminance dynamic range near the core is huge and this makes it a bit hard to bring up both - the dark as well as the brigfht areas without burning "wholes" into this region.

colors are thin, ...

date: 13.3. 23h30 UT to 2h30 UT

scope: 9" TMB Apo f/7 (using the 0,8 TeleVue reducer)

CCD: Starlight Xpress SXV M25C

exp: 3 hours in total (2,4,6,8 min frames)

image acquisition, guiding and preprocessing in AstroArt 4

postprocessing in PS CS2 and Pix Insight LE
