Took this image at our clubs dark site in Mansfield GA. the evening of December 09, 06. Olympus OM1, 28mm lense at F/2.8 Could hardly rember to open the shutter, everyone on the field was hollering so luod. the flare was unbelievably bright, but we were only able to see the final 3 seconds or so, before the main boosters shut down.
